Pentecost goes off from Edumfa

The Church of Pentecost broke ranks with the Edumfa Revival Prayer Centre led by Grace Mensah aka Auntie Grace over an indoctrination saga.

In view of this, the church dorected its pastors, their wives, lay officers and members in general not to patronize any prayer meetings organized by the camp henceforth.

Mrs. Rebecca Bedford and her husband, Elder Emmanuel Bedford, a daughter and son-in-law of Auntie Grace who are the principal characters in propagating the false doctrine were excommunicated from the church accordingly.  Some the force doctrines being propagated by the camp include non patronage of octopus,"kako", all forms of canned fish and the wearing of earrings, necklaces among others. They also allege wearing African clothes with jorome designs is satanic and hell-bound.

Meanwhile, the Cape Coast Area Head of the church, Apostle Albert Amoah on Monday 30th May, 2011 cut the sod for the construction of a modern temple for the new Edumfa Assembly.

Sources close to the camp reveals that tongues are waging since the break away was announced.
The Abura Dunkwa District Pastor of the Church, Pastor Daniel Yeboah Nsaful, prior to the announcement of the breakaway was sacked from the temple after the latter had gone there to worship.
